removals & homes for websites

Tired of running WooCommerce?Keep your shop, without the plugins, the updates or the hosting bill…

A WooCommerce shop is a WordPress site with a till in it, so it needs hosting, extensions and someone to keep them all updated. Bernard moves your site into a home that looks after itself, and we carry your products across for you.

Bernard moves your whole site in, yours to try free for 14 days. Nothing to pay until you decide to keep it, and your WooCommerce site isn’t touched.

Before and after

Google keeps the score. Here it is.

The average site arrives scoring 65 on Google’s mobile speed test. After Bernard’s worked his magic - the average score is 72.And it’s only going to get better.

Real Google Lighthouse scores from 10 live customer sites, each tested before and after, August 2026.

Getting found

How do I get found?

That’s the real question, and it’s the point of moving. Once your site is in its new home, Bernard has the tools to work on exactly that - for Google, and for AI search.

  • Tune any page for search - titles, descriptions, the structured data Google reads - changed in your own words, no plugins.
  • The plain-language map of every page written for AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude.
  • He can tell the search engines the moment something changes, and answers “how am I doing?” from Google’s own numbers, and using plain language.

What comes across

  • Every page, post and image of your WordPress site, exactly as you published them
  • Your products, carried across for you by a person: titles, descriptions, photos, prices, and sizes and colours
  • Your existing links - nothing breaks, so Google doesn’t lose you
  • Your web address, in your own name

Said plainly

What stays behind, for now

  • Your order history and customer logins. They stay in WordPress, so export your orders before you switch the old site off.
  • What your plugins do. Discount codes, sizes and colours, and digital downloads are built in here, but a plugin that runs subscriptions, bookings or something bespoke may not have a home yet. Tell us what yours do and we’ll say honestly which ones do.
  • The automatic catalogue import. Today a person carries your products across rather than a button, so allow a day or two after you sign up.

The whole bill

When Bernard costs less than running WooCommerce

WooCommerce itself is free, and it takes nothing from your sales. The cost is everything around it.

Spend more than £34 a month keeping WooCommerce running, and Bernard is cheaper.

That means hosting, paid extensions and the hours you spend on updates. Bernard puts all of it in one price, and you never do an update again.

WooCommerce says hosting alone costs most shops $25 to $350 a month. Each paid extension adds $29 to $299 a year.

On cheap hosting, with no paid extensions and you doing every update yourself, WooCommerce can cost less.

What else your £400 buys

  • Every buyer on your own contact list, yours to keep
  • Newsletters and automatic emails to that list, with no charge per contact
  • A whole website round the shop, found by Google and AI assistants
  • Kept fast and up to date, with nothing for you to install or update

The site and the shop: £400 a year.

One flat price, and the move is included. Bernard takes 0% of your sales: buyers pay through your own Stripe account at Stripe’s own card rate, and Bernard adds nothing on top. The renewal price is the price you see.

Not sure? Ask a person: hello@bernardmoves.com. We usually reply within 24 hours, often sooner.

Something not right with the move? Bernard checks his own work in a real browser and repairs what he can, without being asked. Want something he can’t do yet? Say so. A person reads every request.

Questions people ask

Can Bernard move a WooCommerce site?
Yes. A WooCommerce shop is a WordPress site, and WordPress is the most common move Bernard makes: every page, post and image comes across and every link is kept. Paste your address and you have it moved in, free for 14 days.
Do my products come across?
Yes, and today a person does it. Once you sign up we carry your products across for you, with their titles, descriptions, photos, prices, and sizes and colours, and you check them before anything goes on sale. An automatic WooCommerce import is being built; until it lands, it’s done by hand.
What doesn’t come across?
Your order history and your customers’ logins stay in WordPress, so export your orders before you switch the old site off. Plugins that do something special, like subscriptions or bookings, may not have a home yet; tell us what yours do and we’ll say honestly.
Is it cheaper than WooCommerce?
If your hosting, extensions and updates cost you more than about £34 a month, yes. WooCommerce itself is free, and WooCommerce’s own pricing page puts hosting at $25 to $350 a month for most stores and extensions at $29 to $299 a year each. Bernard is £400 a year for the site and the shop together, with hosting, updates and the move included, and takes 0% of your sales. A small shop on cheap hosting with no paid extensions can cost less on WooCommerce.
Who takes the card payments?
Your own Stripe account. Buyers pay through Stripe at Stripe’s own card rate, the money goes to you, and Bernard adds nothing on top.
Do I have to be technical to move?
No. You paste your web address, Bernard checks it within a minute, and once you’re moved you change anything just by asking your AI assistant. No plugins to update, ever.
Where will my site live, and is it safe?
On Amazon’s cloud, with Cloudflare standing in front - the same serious infrastructure that quietly holds up a good chunk of the internet. There are no plugins to break into, because there are no plugins. The people who built Bernard usually build software for banks; they couldn’t switch that careful instinct off.

No more waiting a fortnight for a developer.
